IN cOMPUTER sCIENCE IN 1972, SOON HE FULFILLED A DRAFT OBLIGATION TO THE uNITED sTATES nAVY BY TEACHING AT THE nAVAL pOSTGRADUATE sCHOOL IN mONTEREY, cALIFORNIA. wHEN gARY ATTENDED THE INTRODUCTION OF THE NEW iNTEL PROCESSOR 8080 IN 1973, HE WAS SO ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT IT, THAT HE SUGGESTED TO THE iNTEL MANAGERS TO WRITE A COMPILER (I.E.
